Details
Fuel EX 7 is a do-anything full-suspension trail machine evolved to eat up singletrack. For the all-mountain rider, Fuel EX 7 takes the cake.
Up front, a supple RockShox Gold RL fork with DebonAir spring and 150mm of travel gobbles up rock gardens for fun and flowy descents. 140mm rear suspension smooths out rough and technical descents, while a lightweight Alpha Platinum Aluminum frame keeps things lively on the climbs.
New in-frame storage stores trailside tools (or your favouritee snacks) and adjustable geometry give you all the perks that come with the carbon model, without the price tag.
Rounding out the build are tubeless tires with sealant rim strips and valves set-up right out of the box, a dropper post, and reliable Shimano SLX 1x12 drivetrain for ultimate trail fun.
Wheel size:
- Sizes X-Small – Small: 27.5-inch
- Sizes Small – X-Large: 29-inch
Due to supply-chain issues, specs are subject to change without notice.
Mino Link lets you easily tweak your geometry - both headtube agnle and bottom bracket height at the same time for more nimble or more stable handling.
Angle adjusting headset cups (sold separately) tweak the 64.5-degree headtube angle a degree steeper or slacker to your liking, all without impacting your bottom bracket height (for ground clearance).
Steeper = nimble, slacker = stable
All Trek Fuel EX, aluminium and carbon, come tubeless out of the box. Sealant, valves, and rim stips included.
Ditching the tubes and going tubeless will help you get the most performance out of your tires. There are no tubes to pinch, so you can run lower pressures for better traction, and you get more control and a smoother, faster ride. As an added bonus, a tubeless setup can help seal punctures before they become flats.
Easily adjust suspension progression with just a flip of a chip.
Ride it in the Less progressive setting for a plusher feel perfect for rugged trails loaded with square-edge bumps. Flip it to More progressive when you’re riding fast, hitting big features, and don’t want to bottom out — or if you want to roll with a coil shock.
