The compliant carbon frame with our gravel bike geometry and Class 5™ Vibration Reduction System (VRS) is comfortable on unmaintained roads.
Extra cargo mounts on the fork, top tube, and down tube allow you to push more miles between resupplies or take light and fast bikepacking journeys.
Dual wheel size compatibility gives you options for dialing in ride setups based on the course at hand. Shimano’s acclaimed GRX 600 1x group tops it all off with smooth and predictable performance on roads that are anything but.

Salsa's Class 5 Vibration Reduction System (VRS) uses thin, outwardly bowed seatstays and vertically compliant chainstays to absorb road vibrations that would otherwise impact the rider.

Salsa innovated new bottle and accessory mount placements for added utility and ride range. Their gravel and road bikes have mounts on the top tube and underside of the down tube, plus up to five additional bottle mounts for extra hydration, ride accessories, and bikepacking gear.
Warbird features the latest evolution of our already industry leading gravel racing geometry. Warbird places the rider in a position that can be maintained for hours on end over bumpy B-roads and loose surfaces, drastically reducing fatigue. A low bottom bracket and stable wheelbase help keep the tires planted and boost confidence. Long top tubes paired with short stems provide increased stability at high speed and on rough descents.

Warbird is Salsa’s gravel race bike. Inspired by years of experience competing in some of the nation’s premier gravel events, such as Almanzo 100, Dirty Kanza 200 and Trans Iowa, Salsa designed the industry’s first gravel race bike around compliance, stability and confidence for arduous days in the saddle on rough terrain.
