Giro created the Bronte MIPS for riders in search of the renowned Giro fit and in need of an extra-large size.
Inspired by the sleek style and cooling ventilation of the Register helmet, the Bronte MIPS is at home on pavement or the trail.
In-Mold construction is used to make it light without compromising durability, and the acclaimed, adjustable Roc Loc Sport MIPS system makes it easy to custom-tune the fit for comfort and stability.
An integrated Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, which can redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts, ensures that you get the latest in head protection technology.
Hardshell WIth In-Mold Hardbody Lower Wrap
The two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.
Integrated MIPS® Brain Protection System
The goal of Giro's Integrated Mips®-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the Mips slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system.
ROC LOC® Sport Fit System
The Roc Loc Sport Mips fit system offers easy one-handed operation with a 7cm adjustment range. Its confident clicking feel and sound lets riders know that the helmet is adjusting to a comfortable fit. With comfort similar to Roc Loc 5 and ponytail compatibility, the new Roc Loc Sport Mips fit system brings premium function to sport-level helmets.

Note: Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your forehead without hindering your vision. Once you’ve got the right size, you can adjust the fit.
How To Adjust The Fit
- If the helmet has one, adjust the fit system at the rear of the helmet for a snug, secure fit. Some fit systems also include a vertical tuning feature that allows you to adjust the fore/aft tilt, for optimal positioning on your head.
- Adjust the straps so that they sit just below the earlobes.
- Adjust the buckle so that it rests against the back of the jaw/throat.
- Adjust the interior pads if needed.
- Check the fit to make sure helmet is comfortable and secure. It should not roll forward or back, or be able to slide off.
