When Castelli set out to make this short, the idea was to make the short that they would grab the moment it's dry after being washed, no matter what kind of ride is on the calendar for that day. So that's what we did. First, they found a soft, stretchy fabric that feels amazing on the skin the second you put the short on. This fabric forms and moves with the body without being tight or constrictive. They paid extra attention to the fit to make sure everything stays where you want it, but they added silicone gripper at the leg ending just to make sure your tan line stays crisp. Of course, they've used their Progetto X2 Air Donna seat pad for all-day comfort. Finally, they added some extra details like reflective tabs for added safety. All of this makes the Espresso our, and your, new favorite short.

Washing instructions are printed on a white tag inside each piece of clothing. Following these instructions will help make sure that your gear will last as long as possible. Careful washing and maintenance will ensure the highest performance from your Castelli products and extend their useful life span.

  1. Always read the care label before washing a piece of clothing.
  2. Close all zips and Velcro fasteners and turn the garment inside out.
  3. Hand or machine wash on a lukewarm permanent press cycle (max. 30°C / 86°F)
  4. Use a small amount of liquid or powder detergent, not other products that contain fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleach as they will affect garment performance.
  5. Hang dry or dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
