The ASICS Gel Nimbus 25 is a premium running shoe boasting high levels of soft cushioning that will make you feel like you are running on clouds.
Revamped with all-new materials, the ASICS Gel Nimbus 25 is a neutral daily trainer that anyone seeking a highly cushioned shoe can enjoy. With more cushioning than ever before, the midsole is packed with FLYTE FOAM BLAST+ ECO foam that offers a soft landing and bouncy toe-off. Meanwhile, ASICS' new PureGEL Technology sits directly under the heel to deliver the brand's signature "Gel" impact absorption in a lighter and softer package. An OrthoLite X-55 Sockliner finishes out the cushioning, improving step in comfort for a luxurious feel from the moment you lace on the shoes.
In the outsole, ASICS LITE rubber is paired with long-lasting AHAR rubber to save weight without compromising durability or grip. The premium design of the shoe continues in the updated knit upper. The stretch knit provides a soft and adaptable fit while a knit tongue construction extends around the ankle for a comfortable hold of the foot. Whether looking for a versatile shoe for your daily runs or a highly cushioned workhorse for long miles, the ASICS Gel Nimbus 25 is ready for the task.
ASICS added their PureGel technology to the Gel-Nimbus 25, which increases shock absorption and is softer, bouncier and more sustainable than the gel used in the Gel-Nimbus 24. They redesigned the shoe adding 20% more FF Blast+ foam and an extra 4 mm of stack height. Plus, they extended the heel and decreased the heel-to-toe drop to 8 mm to give you a softer, lighter and smoother ride.
ASICS also redesigned the upper, giving it a stretchy knit upper that adapts to your foot for the perfect fit. There is more cushion and padding around the heel collar and a new lacing system to lock your foot down and provide structure.
