When Castelli set out to make this jersey, they wanted the jersey that they'd always reach for the second it was washed and dry after the last time we wore it. No matter if you normally wear an aero race-fit jersey or a more regular cut jersey, the Espresso will be your new favorite jersey. First, they focused on the fit and fabric of this jersey. They developed a fabric that would allow for a close-to-body fit without being constrictive or feeling tight. The fabric they developed also offers great breathability and moisture management, and as an added bonus, they found that the fabric tests well in the wind tunnel too! Next, they focused on the waist and pockets, so that you can load up the pockets when a long day is in store and nothing moves around. There is a fourth zippered security pocket to keep your valuable safe. Finally, they use a tried and trusted full-length YKK® Vislon® zipper. They're sure that this will be the jersey you always go to, no matter what the ride is that day, because Espresso is always a good idea.

When Castelli set out to make this bibshort, the idea was to make the short that they would grab the moment it's dry after being washed, no matter what kind of ride is on the calendar for that day. So that's what they did. First, Castelli developed a soft, stretchy fabric that feels amazing on the skin the second you put the short on. This fabric forms and moves with the body without being tight or constrictive. They paid extra attention to the fit to make sure everything stays where you want it, but they added silicone gripper at the leg ending just to make sure your tan line stays crisp. The mesh bib straps are stretchy while allowing extra ventilation. Of course, they've used their Progetto X2 Air seat pad for all-day comfort. Finally, Castelli added some extra details like a rear pocket for storage and reflective tabs for added safety. All of this makes the Espresso our, and your, new favorite bibshort.

INNOVATIVE EVOLUTION The Free Aero RC Short is Castelli's top race short, which also means that it's insanely comfortable even if you never pin on a number. It's fair to say that they've been working on this short for the past 15 years. That's how long it's been since the original Free Aero Race Short was first introduced, initially as their top-of-the-line race short. Since then it has won three Tours de France, three Giri d'Italia, one Vuelta and San Remo, but it also became the best-selling product in the history of Castelli because, simply put, this is the short that does everything well. The concept is quite simple: start with the best pad that Castelli knows how to make, surround it with a supportive short with good muscle compression, and then remove everything else that's not absolutely necessary. You feel Free thanks to the reduced number of panels and the reduced number of seams. In fact, the short portion has just 5 panels compared to 10 in the previous generation. You feel Free because of further refinements to the Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad. The two densities of foam plus the gel pads provide progressive damping, while the separate Skin Care Layer is soft and stretchy to move with your skin. You feel Free because this is the first high-end short that doesn't need any sort of gripper or elastic at the end of the leg to keep the leg in place. Getting this right meant 28 prototypes and our most extensive test program ever, and it results in the most comfortable leg ending Castelli has ever made. The Forza 2 fabric has 32% Lycra® with a high modulus for exceptional muscle support and just the right amount of compression. There's reflective piping on the back. And all logos are either stitched or embossed for durability.

If you're looking for just one jacket to do it all, start here. Castelli used the lightest GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER three-layer stretch fabric, which makes it great for milder conditions, and the stretch gives it a great fit. It's the same outer fabric as we use for our Alpha RoS 2 Jacket, called "The benchmark in how the best winter jackets should perform" by Cyclingnews.com, but the Go Jacket forgoes the Alpha's integrated liner so you can decide how much insulation you need. Add a Flanders Warm base layer and thermal jersey to extend the comfort range to subfreezing temperatures. But the fabric is only the start. They've tailored the fit to be close to body but not too close. It gives a good drape to the jacket, rounded out by details like the no-sew finishing to the hem and the zippered colored chest pocket. The hidden internal cuffs are a nice comfort touch, and you'll appreciate how they eliminate drafts from the wrist. There are three pockets on the back, with a large reflective strip stretching across the entire bottom of the pockets for nighttime visibility. Where does this jacket fit in our line? It's similar in warmth to the Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve, but it has a more tailored and elegant look, with a slightly more relaxed fit, and it's not quite as protective in wet weather.

The Premio Bibshort has been engineered to provide the ultimate in long-distance comfort and to be your favorite bibshort ever. That's a big claim, but there's a lot of research and development in this short to back it up. The seat pad is central to the Premio’s exceptional comfort and the top-of-the-line Progetto X2 Air Seamless pad is actually two separate components: a soft, stretchy Skin Care Layer next to your skin, which has the sole purpose of preventing any rubbing on your skin, and, under that, the Cushioning Layer, which features two separate densities of foam along with breathable perforated gel inserts under the ischia bones and perineum. Comfort continues through the construction of the short with reduced seams and only 3 panels. Castelli engineered a new fabric that changes depending on the needs over various parts of the body. The lower leg has a raw-cut leg ending and rubberized yarns to guarantee a flat grip to keep the leg in place. The fabric becomes lighter in the thigh, while the four-way stretch provides just the right amount of muscle support. In the pelvis area, the compression and support increase to keep the seat pad and everything else in place,. At the back there’s a thicker fabric to avoid any transparency issues. The premium fabrics extend to the bib straps. The perforated back keeps you cool and the edge is bonded so you don’t feel the thickness of a stitched edge. The elastic straps have just enough modulus (return) to hold your shorts securely in place without cutting in to your shoulders. Castelli carried the less-is-more theme into the design, with minimalist laser-etched logos and subtle finishing. It looks as premium as it feels. You can tell that every component, every stitch, every detail has been obsessed over. You'll not find a better bibshort.

The next generation of Assos' flagship WorldTour bib shorts, re-engineered with lower weight, increased cooling breathability, and more comfortable, body-wrapping compression from waist to raw-cut leg openings. Available here in a standard leg length. The critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed them to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let them eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.

Assos took this generational redesign as an opportunity to make the MILLE GT better at the things we loved about its predecessor, including their premium X-frame suspension carriage, a refined comfort waist fit, and a reduction in seams and weight (28% and 5g, respectively). The insert also got some attention, inheriting the increased ventilation of our GTS/GTO models and receiving 3mm of additional cushioning. An endurance cycling jersey with a streamlined fit, breathable textile, and frictionless raw-cut sleeves, re-engineered with lighter construction and less restriction. For the next evolution of Assos's proven MILLE GT jersey, Assos opened the front of the collar and updated the fit across the chest and throat, relieving pressure for easier breathing and less restriction. The sleeves and collar feature a new material that shaves 15g (size medium) off the previous jersey’s weight while retaining the highly elastic, wrapping fit and active moisture-management. The new bonded hem and zipper reduce friction between layers and rippling across the stomach while in the riding position.

The SUPERLÉGER was developed primarily for two specific applications.
