Madone SL 7 Gen 8 is a race-ready road bike built to give you the best of every world. Its featherweight build lets you soar up climbs, while aero geometry cuts drag on descents and IsoFlow keeps you comfortable through the miles.
To give you the best balance of price and performance, it's built with 500 Series OCLV carbon, a two-piece handlebar and stem, and Shimano Ultegra Di2 wireless electronic drivetrain that delivers clean shifts every time, all topped off with carbon wheels for extra lightweight performance.
Madone Gen 8’s updated IsoFlow technology is even lighter and up to 80% more vertically compliant than before, absorbing road chatter so your customers can ride stronger longer.
Madone Gen 8 is 77 sec/hr faster than Émonda and as fast as the previous Madone* with new Full System Foil aero shapes that redefine what fast looks like.

Shimano's Ultegra Di2 utilizes a wireless cockpit paired with a wired connection between a single, seat-tube-stored battery and the front and rear derailleurs, ensuring absolute reliability in all conditions.
Just like Dura-Ace, the Ultegra Di2 system is highly customizable using Shimano’s E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist App on your smartphone. With the app, you can set-up your drivetrain just the way you like it, adjusting shift speed, altering the number of shifts per button actuation, and utilizing Synchronized and Semi-Synchro shifting functionality.
You can also pair the system with third party cycling computers such as Garmin and Wahoo, which allow you to monitor gear selection and battery status.
The versatile Aeolus Pro 51 delivers the latest Aeolus rim profiles for unmatched speed and stability performance at Pro-level prices.
The strong, lightweight Pro-level OCLV Carbon allows for faster, more stable rim profiles.
These Tubeless Ready rims feature a wider 23mm inner width that’s proven to roll with less drag add to the overall speed gains.
Silky-smooth hubs rolling on DT Swiss 350 internals deliver a fast and quick-rolling ride.
All Bontrager carbon wheels are warrantied for life for the original purchaser and come with the added protection of Carbon Care. If you structurally damage your wheels while riding in the first two years of ownership, we'll replace them. It’s that easy.
Starting with the rollout of Madone Gen 8, Trek will begin transitioning from a numerical road bike sizing system (i.e. 47 - 62), to an alpha sizing system (i.e. XS - XL)
This new sizing system will consolidate their Madone size options from eight to six while covering a wider range of riders, from smallest to tallest.
