The ultimate vest for all cold-weather adventures. Smartwool's Women’s Smartloft™ Vest uses a recycled wool insulation to offer lightweight, packable warmth wherever you go. A DWR finish helps protect you from the elements, with a stretchy and soft Merino-blend fleece on the inside. So you’re free to move through any winter activity in total comfort.

- 60g proprietary 50% recycled wool insulation offers lightweight, packable warmth, breathability and insulation even when wet
- Wind-resistant recycled nylon with DWR protects from the elements
- Stretchy Merino-blend fleece panels add comfort and mobility
- Insulation is lined with Merino for comfort, sweat management, and odor control
- Two zippered hand pockets, one zippered internal chest pocket
- Shell: 100% Recycled Nylon. Sides: 47% Recycled Polyester, 38% Merino Wool, 15% Elastane.
- Lining: 56% Merino Wool, 44% Recycled Polyester.
- Fill: 50% Recycled Wool, 38% Wool, 12% Polyester. Exclusive of Decoration.
- Turn socks and garments inside out.
- Machine-wash on gentle cycle in warm or cool water (avoid hot water as heat may shrink wool).
- Use mild soap, no bleach or fabric softener (bleach destroys the Merino wool fibers, and fabric softener coats those fibers—reducing their ability to naturally manage moisture and regulate body temperature).
- While you can tumble-dry most of our Merino, we recommend air-drying to reduce your environmental impact and further extend the life of each product. Dry your wool clothes by laying them flat (hanging wet wool may distort the shape). If you prefer the dryer, tumble-dry on low setting. And, as always, check the care label. A few of our products still shouldn’t be dried in the dryer.
