The Ether Light XT Extreme is extra thick and exceptionally warm. The XT Air Sprung Cells provide 4" of stability and comfort, while dual-density layers of THERMOLITE® insulation prevent convective heat loss and internal air movement. The result: true four-season performance.

Warm enough for winter conditions? The tested R-Value of 6.2 and lack of internal air movement (which removes heat loss) make it perfect for four-season use.
Suitable for backpacking? Possibly. The Tapered Regular weighs 25.5 ozs / 720 g – a little heavy for warm weather backpacking, but fine for backpack trips in cold-environments.
Easy to inflate? Yes. The supplied stuff sack features an integrated Airstream Pump – just a few breaths will inflate the mat.
