Details

The Micro Puff® Jacket combines ultralight Pertex® Quantum shell fabric with PlumaFill insulation, and the result is the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any jacket Patagonia ever created and the highest compressibility of any of their synthetic jackets. It is your go-to insulation piece for mixed (and possibly miserable) cold conditions. The shell fabric is made with NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets, and the insulation is 100% recycled polyester. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.

  • Ultralight Shell

Ultralight, windproof Pertex® Quantum shell made of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals)

  • Revolutionary Insulation

Revolutionary lightweight PlumaFill insulation replicates the structure of down in a continuous synthetic insulation material, offering the warmth and packability of down but with the warm-when-wet performance of synthetic insulation

  • Innovative Quilting Construction

Innovative quilting construction complements the insulation by stabilizing and maximizing the loft of the PlumaFill strands with minimal stitching

  • Center-Front Zipper

Center-front zipper has storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort; patterned for high mobility

  • Pocket Features

Two welted, zippered handwarmer pockets and two internal drop-in pockets; left pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop

  1. Follow the care instructions on the garment's tag. Each piece of Patagonia clothing has a tag with care instructions that are specific to that item. Always follow these instructions to avoid damaging the garment.

  2. Wash in cold water. Patagonia recommends washing their clothing in cold water to reduce energy consumption and prevent shrinkage.

  3. Use a mild detergent. Harsh detergents can damage the fabric and reduce the lifespan of the garment. Patagonia recommends using a mild detergent that is specifically designed for outdoor apparel.

  4. Avoid fabric softeners. Fabric softeners can clog the pores in the fabric, reducing the garment's ability to wick moisture and regulate temperature.

  5. Tumble dry low or air dry. Patagonia clothing can be tumble dried on low heat, but air drying is always preferred to reduce energy consumption and prolong the life of the garment.

  6. Repair before replacing. Patagonia encourages customers to repair their clothing rather than replacing it. They offer a repair program that can fix damaged clothing and gear for a reasonable fee.

By following these care instructions, customers can help extend the life of their Patagonia products and reduce their impact on the environment.
