The perfect choice for the all-round ski tourer seeking the ideal balance of efficient climbing and reliable handling on the downhill, the Atomic Backland Expert does it all.
Built with Prolite construction, Frictionless Pivot, a Glass Fiber loaded shell, this boot also features next generation Cross Lace 2.0 which integrates a cable through the buckle for a better overall fit and the ability to personalize the closure settings.
The comfortable, PVC-free 3D Gold Tour liner is washable and breathable and comes equipped with Dura Shield, a durable TPU layer and rugged mesh textile that greatly improves the durability of the liner.
The Backland Expert offers a softer flex with the best of the Backland innovations to create a boot with zero compromises.

Backland boots are only compatible with TLT-style touring bindings that use traditional pins at both the toe and the heel. Backland boot models appear in the chart below as "Touring Ski Boots (Not Normed)"
Backland boots are NOT compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as the Salomon and Atomic Shift MNC 10 & 13, Fritschi Tecton 13 and Marker Kingpin 10 and 13 and Kingpin M-Werks 12.
