So whether you're riding a virtual course or performing a structured workout, Climb will simulate assents and descents with resistance changes for a truly immersive indoor training experience. The Climb moves your bike, this means you'll have to adjusts your position on the bike to engage climbing muscles, and improve pedaling technique to become a more efficient and powerful climber. The KICKR HEADWIND is the first ever smart fan, designed with the cyclist in mind. Its Targeted Airflow Pattern mirrors the shape and position of a cyclist's body while riding. The KICKR HEADWIND is sensor controlled so as your speed or heart rate increases, so will the fan speed, and there are also 4 manual speed settings should you want to set your own ideal airflow. With speeds of over 30 mph (48 kph), the KICKR HEADWIND will keep you cool during the toughest training sessions.
This kit comes with everything you need to mount most 142x12 thru-axle bikes on your KICKR.
Do you want to work on your rhythm, make your muscles more flexible or refine your coordination and technique? Then use the Antares rollers. You can cycle freely, just like on the road or track. If you find it difficult to cycle unsecured you can use the Antares bracket. The Antares is collapsible and is easy to transport. Some cyclists keep finding it hard to ride without a restraint. They choose the Tacx Antares and use the support for Antares to secure the bike, without the front wheel, and still cover the mileage in front of them. Riding on ‘the Tacx’ is a relatively easy way to up your track pace and make your muscles more supple. This makes for completely natural movements. You keep pedalling from the hips, just as you would on the road or track. A high pedalling frequency, that is needed for the right feeling in the legs, is also possible. The Tacx trainer tires have been developed specifically for riding indoors on bike trainers. The special rubber minimizes the risk of overheating, slipping, and wear and tear. They are also quieter than regular rear tires on both road and mountain bikes. Tacx trainer tires are not suitable for outside riding.
