The mesh back of hand and perforated premium AX Suede synthetic palm make this glove extremely comfortable. We gave it medium-density foam through the palm to satisfy riders who don't want a bulky glove, but we kept the Castelli Damping System median nerve padding. For the windproofing we went with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fleece-backed fabric, which also lets more moisture escape than any other windproof fabric. The two layers are thick enough that we had to do a wheel well single-layer construction by the ball of the foot to prevent the fabric from rubbing on the crank.
