On long rides, pulling up to take a nature break shouldn’t require a mini-Houdini, which is why the WK3 features patented soft, side-positioned straps that allow the bib to be pulled down without having to remove either your gilet or jersey in the bathroom stall, or at the side of the trail. A three-season classic, the venerable cycling cap is never out of style—of course, that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved with functional innovation. Assos updated the standard, replacing old-school cotton construction with materials and features that aggressively manage moisture and actively, rapidly cool. They finished the cap with the most classic of classic of looks: a contrasting center stripe. Some traditions are above innovation.

A cooling, breathable glove for endurance cycling in hot conditions. Reduced weight proves that "comfortable" and "ultralight" aren't mutually exclusive. Textile research led us to innovations in cooling, durability, and increased comfort-the three main priorities for summer cycling equipment at high-wear touchpoints. We also managed to reduce the weight by 25% compared to our previous summer gloves. An overall increase in breathability and cooling reduces internal friction and irritation from lingering moisture while ensuring the inevitable perspiration of summer cycling doesn't interfere with a secure grip on the hoods.

For the next generation of Race Series gloves, Assos revisited the wrist cut, eliminating material to carve out space for the wrists to bend in the riding position. Less volume, less wrinkling, less restriction. The construction and hand articulation remain the same, combining five different textiles, 10 panels, and three components in a curved, streamlined 3D shape that mimics the intricate anatomical structure of the hand as it grips the bars.

In cool or cold weather, transporting internal moisture is as important as keeping the external elements out, especially during intense training or racing, when a series of intervals, hill repeats, or attacks can lead to lingering moisture, a clammy chill, and frigid misery. Alternatively, full-arm wicking is a must for indoor training, when moving through the air isn’t constantly keeping your arms dry.

A hyperlight short-sleeve base layer, body-mapped with two types of open mesh for maximum airflow and moisture transfer during indoor training and the hottest racing conditions. The SUPERLÉGER was developed primarily for two specific applications. The first addresses the demands of speed-focused riders who train and race indoors, where the upper body layer needs be as light, breathable, and moisture wicking as possible. The second application is for the hottest outdoor racing conditions, where the same considerations also apply, but where a less revealing front mesh panel adds a touch of welcomed coverage while fully unzipped.

An endurance cycling jersey with a streamlined fit, breathable textile, and frictionless raw-cut sleeves, re-engineered with lighter construction and less restriction. For the next evolution of Assos's proven MILLE GT jersey, Assos opened the front of the collar and updated the fit across the chest and throat, relieving pressure for easier breathing and less restriction. The sleeves and collar feature a new material that shaves 15g (size medium) off the previous jersey’s weight while retaining the highly elastic, wrapping fit and active moisture-management. The new bonded hem and zipper reduce friction between layers and rippling across the stomach while in the riding position.

A bib-free training and endurance cycling short that’s at home on the road or aboard the indoor trainer. Bibs aren’t for everyone, but their absence compounds the difficulty of dialing the perfect ride-tuned fit. The bib-free Zero-Pressure waist embodies our C2 AEPD click-fit ethos with a secure hold on the sides and back, and a panel insert on the front stretches to accommodate aggressive positioning on the bike and deep breathing during hard efforts. The updated insert inherited increased ventilation from our premium models, and 3mm of additional thickness increase long-ride comfort.

The next generation in committed riders’ bib shorts of choice, defined by its frictionless waist, refined air-cooling insert, and muscle-wrapping textile. Assos took this generational redesign as an opportunity to make the MILLE GT better at the things we loved about its predecessor, including their premium X-frame suspension carriage, a refined comfort waist fit, and a reduction in seams and weight (28% and 5g, respectively). The insert also got some attention, inheriting the increased ventilation of our GTS/GTO models and receiving 3mm of additional cushioning. Assos also updated the Odor Control Top Sheet Tex to the Sugar Blue colorway.

The next generation of Assos' flagship WorldTour bib shorts, re-engineered with lower weight, increased cooling breathability, and more comfortable, body-wrapping compression from waist to raw-cut leg openings. Available here in a standard leg length. The critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed them to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let them eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.
